Bristol South Bank

Who fancies a central arts and entertainment district?

We could have street theatre, musicians and artists performing on a weekly, monthly or bi monthly basis. Similar to 'Make Sundays Special' but on the harbourside instead.

Bath currently has some aspects of this and lots of people love to stop, look and take photos.

There are lots of local talented performers and and buskers which would flock there, as well as a variety of pop up shops so every event could be different.

Why the contribution is important

This would encourage spending, tourism and improve the repuation of arts and culture in Bristol.

The 'South Bank' is a thriving part of South London. Bristol's is a few streets in Ashton (sorry - 'Southville') based around the fiefdom of our Mayor. There is no comparison. There's plenty of culture in this city without creating artificial zones and quarters for it.
