Development of Ashton Court

I recall hearing that Bristol City Council hold a substantial quantity of items of art.  I think that the time is right to dispose of some of this and use it to refurbish Ashton Court.  In the short term this would provide employment and in the long term should prove an important asset for leisure and tourism purposes

The items of art is valuable but expensive to maintain and serves no purpose right now.

Suitable use of these assets would perhaps give Bristolians something positive to follow.

(I am a George Ferguson supporter surrounded by detractors - it would be nice to hear some of them being less crirical for once!)
