Aardman have been wonderful for the city with its Gromit summer and a future event planned for 2015.

Other such resources exist that perhaps with suitable encouragement could be encouraged to invest in the city. How about a 'Lansdown Arena' or a 'Hargreaves Harbour Bridge'?

Why the contribution is important

There is a lot of wealth in Bristol .In the past Wills, Frys etc were prominent in developing the city, but this seems to have waned in recent times. Why not encourage those fortunate to have generated wealth to leave a lasting legacy.

I definitely think that we should advertise bristols great heritage a lot more to attract visitors. This idea can easily add to some off the other great ideas posted here.

We have the Chamber of Commerce and the Merchant Venturers to do this.
