Footbridge
To construct an aesthetically beautiful footbridge from the Hippodrome side the centre to the fountain side.
It should be constructed using modern technology and materials to create an structure reflecting the growing reputation Bristol has of being one of the greenest, culturally and artistically inspiring forward looking citys in Europe.
Why the contribution is important
The bridge should enable the public to cross the very busy central roads in safety.
I believe the design of the bridge should enhance the centre area artistically by connecting one side to the other, visibly giving the large open space more of a 'centre' feel.This addition may also become another tourists attraction similar to the 'Shrek ears'.

We'll lose a quarter of our budget over the next 3 years - £90 million need to be cut out.
