Make all Bus Lanes 4+ lanes.
If you have four or more people in your car, you should be allowed to use all the bus lanes in Bristol.
Why the contribution is important
I'm a big believer that to effect a change in behaviour, you need to reward the behaviour you want to see, not punish the behaviour you don't. Yes. Fixing Bristol's traffic problems is like training a labrador...
There are not enough rewards for commuters that car-share. I suggest we allow those that fill their car to use the bus lanes. The thought of being able to zoom up the M32 or the Portway at 8am into Bristol may be enough to get more to do it.
The environmental benefits of having one car flying into the city as opposed to four cars sat in a traffic jam coughing out fumes should be obvious.
