Open a year-round farmers market

St. Nick's market is fantastic.  In addition to St. Nick's market,  it would be great if we could have a market in the city centre which sells fruit, veg, meat, fish, like they still have in Cardiff.  Perhaps some of the derelict buildings around the old Police station in Broadmead (or even the old police station) could be used?

Why the contribution is important

Continue to give people direct access to locally grown food.

Build a vibrant destination in our city centre - some markets have become tourist destinations in their own right, such as Borough Market in London or Reading Market in Philadelphia.

Additional use of the old Police Station or other underused space in Bristol.

Makes total sense and brings people back into the centre.

This could also form part of a centralised web site that enables people to buy online and get things delivered to their door.
A Farm Drop / HUB idea would be great at the old police station where local producers dropped in their goods to be sold direct to the public. Trading in Bristol Pounds and enabling producers to get a fair price for what they sell. The building is multi functional with small restaurants and boutique stalls / shops, great idea, Anne

Potentially good - if you want to get people voting for this you need to be clearer about the difference between your idea for a year-round farmers market that sells fruit, veg, meat & fish; and the current year round farmers market that sells fruit, veg, meat & fish. Is it just location?
