Pedestrianise road between Quakers Friar/Broadmead/Cabot Circus

What's the value of having the Horsefair open to cars and buses?  Could the bus stops be moved to Bond Street instead for these buses and have people walk across to the shops?  Many people don't look for traffic when walking between Quakers Friar and Cabot Circus and it ruins the feel of the area to have huge buses running right in the middle of the shopping district.

Why the contribution is important

Make shopping in Bristol city centre just a bit nicer, for the price of a little longer walk to the bus (but still a shorter walk than walking to the multi-story car park!).

If you can't pedestrianise it then at least make ALL the main crossing points zebra crossings so that pedestrians have priority over motor traffic in this area. It might discourage some of the car drivers from going through if they knew they had to stop lots of times.
