Restaurant/fast food homeless donations
Just think how much food in restaurants, bars, fast food outlets, fish and chip shops etc is prepared for the day, left on a hot plate and never eaten at the end of the day and no doubt thrown away. My idea is for these companies to simply give the food away to the homeless of the young men and women who are sleeping on Bristols streets. A company or council could attend these places on a daily basis and take the unwanted/not purchased food to a central location and pass it out to people who need it to survive.
Why the contribution is important
Good idea for many reasons, makes the homeless feel like that have a way to stay healthy, promotes Bristol as a caring city were everyone pulls together, and in this weather this time of year it could save lives.
