Underground Secure Cycle Storage

There should be somewhere in central Bristol where we can securely store our bikes. On BBC Click this week they had an underground robotic bike storage thingy from Tokyo. Have a look at this... http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-24960489

Why the contribution is important

All the bike's are being stolen - nowhere is safe.

Some half-decent bike lockers might be a cheaper option.

Could this be built into existing car parks? Could the abandoned bike racks behind the Evening Post be brought into use?

Agree. In many European cities they also have mostly underground car parks. This would free up the space above ground for much more attractive architecture or communal spaces.
