Yellow box at St Mary Redcliffe Roundabout

There is a partial yellow box on the roundabout, but it needs to cover both lanes - When the right hand lane is clogged the whole city is choked becasue traffic cannot cross the river.

Why the contribution is important

If we kept the roundabout clear traffic would flow much more easily throughout the city. The cost would be minimal as the yellow box needs repainting anyway

A sensible suggestion. Needlessly obstructed traffic at roundabouts means more air pollution and more frayed tempers. It might not solve the overall problem of congestion in the city, but if it enables a local improvement in traffic flow, then why not?

You think St Mary Redcliffe is bad, if only drivers could turn right at the bottom of Wells Road and avoid the Temple Meads roundabout, or even go straight across the TM roundabout and drive into Feeder Road it doesn't take much imagination to see how much time, petrol, pollution and frayed tempers could be improved.
